health insurance for baby?

i need health insurance for my newborn baby. Can anyone refer me to affordable insurance?

Answer
Your options may vary depending on where you live, so it’s hard to make a specific recommendation. If you don’t have any employer-sponsored health insurance options, you may be able to buy an individual health insurance plan just for your child (or for yourself and your child, if you need coverage too).

Talk to a licensed agent to find out what’s available in your area. You can also visit an online health insurance agency like the one I work for, eHealthInsurance.com. Through our site, for example, you can get free quotes, compare plans side by side, and apply for coverage online.

Individual health insurance plans may not be available for infants in every state, however. But you may also have some state-sponsored options available. I’d really recommend you talk with an agent to find out more. It doesn’t cost anything extra to work through an agent. If you’d like to talk with one of our agents, give us a call at 1-800-977-8860.

Hope that helps,

Amir M, licensed agent
